Make sure that while you are in Alaska you check out the Pratt Museum it is located about 200 miles south of Anchorage, right on the Kenai Peninsula. The museum is interdisciplinary and is the only one on the Kenai Peninsula. Their indoor exhibits focus on art, natural history, native cultures, homesteading, fishing, and marine ecology.
